In Greek mythology Ithaca was the island home of the hero Ulysses. After fighting in the Trojan War for ten years, Ulysses began his journey home to Ithaca, which lasted 10 anotheryears. During this voyage adventure found him all along the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.
